Our goal was to drive the market to watch ESPN’s premiere of the newest 30 For 30 film “This Was The XFL” on February 2, 2017 by creating buzz surrounding the XFL hall of fame exhibit and exclusive premiere on January 13, 2017 in New York City through influencer channels. By utilizing 8 New York City-based influential photographers, we successfully built buzz for the film by posting to their Instagram platforms. Through our influencers’ Instagram Stories alone, we garnered over 99,400 unique viewers during the event. Influencer posts on Instagram potentially reached over 1.2 million people and garnered 11,578 likes and comments from the evening of the event till the world premiere on ESPN.
